- Reginia Judge is an assistant professor in the Department of Justice Studies at Montclair State University. In addition to teaching hands-on courses entitled, “Computer Applications in the Legal Environment” and "Law Office Management and Technology", she lectures in the areas of Consumer Law, Criminal Law and Procedure, Real Estate Law and Civil Litigation. Professor Judge is the coordinator of Justice Studies Technology and the Computer Assisted Legal Research Project. Her current research is in the areas of Cybercrime and the use of law related film in the Paralegal and Justice Studies curricula.
I have used this film to discuss settlement of a civil suit. I show the film up to the scene where the defendant’s attorney discovers damaging evidence against her client. I ask my students to describe what they would do at that juncture and how they advise their clients regarding resolution of the case.
